Day 54; ‘Sup? I’m broke and I can’t afford gas, so I skipped my classes today. I’m running on E and I know I’m not going to make it to Edison. This is sad. I went to Dunkin’ Donuts to ask Jordan the password to his house. I was walking in the parking lot and fixing my purse at the same time.  Then all of a sudden, I look up and this car was backing up really fast and almost hit me. He was going SO fast like if he floored it. I was literally half an inch away from getting hit really hard. A lot of people saw it and got really scared. The guy who was driving said that he was sorry and I was pissed at the same time so I just said “RELAX. Seriously.” I was walking away mad as hell; people asking me if I was alright and whatever, but as soon as I got in the building, I started to get the ‘shook’ effect. The people inside were all curious of what happened and this lady who saw told them. I began to talk to Jordan and my eyes were getting teary and my legs were shaking. I’m not going to lie that was really scary. If that car hit me then say goodbye to my legs because that guy was backing up really fast for NO reason. I can’t believe that happened to me and I reacted like that afterwards. Today’s not my morning, but at least the weather is beautiful out. I still get the bad chills just thinking about what happened. Everything happened so fast. Good looking out though, God.
